ABOUT ALLIANCE GRADUATE SCHOOL

Alliance Graduate School is an evangelical graduate school of theology. AGS equips Christian men and women for the ministry and mission of the Church in the Philippines and Asia. We do this by enabling quality learning in theological reflection, ministry skills, and spiritual formation through biblical, contextual education, within a caring Christian community to develop Christ-like leaders.

The seminary has been serving for more than 25 years since it was founded in June of 1977. AGS is fully recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and is accredited by Asia Theological Association, and the Association of Theological Schools in South East Asia. AGS is also a partner institution of the Asia Graduate School of Theology.

At AGS you will find a warm and supportive environment in which to learn and grow. The seminary plays a strategic role in serving and equipping the churches in the Philippines and in Asia. Our international and inter-denominational student body enables their churches to fulfill their missionary task.

AGS ROLE IN ASIAN CHURCH
AGS plays a strategic role in serving and equipping the Asian Church to participate in God’s mission and complete the Great Commission. Our international and interdenominational student body enables their churches to fulfill their missionary task. The majority of students are still Filipinos. There are more than 4 million Filipinos working all over the world, many of them in Limited Access Nations closed to western missionaries. Many of our Filipino students (such as those in the Bible Translation program) are preparing to work among the unreached tribal and Muslim groups within the Philippines and overseas. Graduates of AGS are working in Bolivia, Thailand, HongKong, Japan, Paraguay, Palau, China, Madagascar, England, Australia, and Nigeria.
