ABOUT ALLIANCE GRADUATE SCHOOL

Testimonials

Living among the Ayangan community in Ifugao for ten months has taught me precious lessons about God's protective care.  First I went through an isolation period of 6 weeks to learn their language.  Then we had a “survival hike” where I first felt God's special protection over me.  Then followed the 10 months work of community living, translation, observing the culture, and teaching adult literacy.  By the end of this period we had 10 graduates of the program.  We did the famous Ifugao dance as part of the graduates’ celebration.  It was sheer joy to see the work done!

Mila S. Mata -  Diploma in Bible Translation

Class 2002

It seems like yesterday when Sonia, Jane and I were in our final term in our graduate studies in Christian Counseling at AGS. I remember seeing the gleam in Sonia's eyes as she shared the strong impressions she got from the Lord. And I thought she was talking about my vision, too! That's when we began to pray for the center and for the people who would be involved in it. Six years have passed and today, Sonia, Jane, Aimz, Chit, Maridi, Cita, Cesar and I [all AGS alumni] are living witnesses to God's grace and faithfulness to Door of Hope Counseling Resource Center (DOHCRC) to the people we serve, and to our own lives as well.

Class 1999

After our graduation at AGS last April 2003, we moved to Tabuk, Kalinga. Our ministry involves training and equipping lay leaders in the entire Kalinga area and ministering  to  the College students and high schoolers through the student center we opened last July. We thank God that many students come to the center. One of the students who came last month said," Pastor, this is the solution to our problem here in Kalinga. if only many Kalinga students will surrender their life to Christ, then killing in our province will cease."  Tribal conflicts among the Kalingas still exist. Please pray that God will really use the student's center as a channel of blessing and peace!
