Registration Information |
REQUIREMENTS
- All students who have been admitted to a chosen program and have attended the orientation of new students are qualified to register effective the semester they are admitted.
- All students who desire to enroll for one or two courses on credit at the seminary, not leading to a degree, may register as special students.
- Auditing students (not taking a course for credit) may also register as special students.
- Inactive students for more than five years will be allowed to register upon renewal of application requirements.
PROCEDURES
- Students must register by the date specified in the calendar each year.
- Each student must secure a registration form to be completed after meeting with the program director.
- The student goes to his program director for advising on the courses to be taken for the semester.
- The student fills out the registration form with the corresponding schedule of study and then secures the signatures of his advisor and registrar respectively.
- The student goes to the Business Office for payments.
LATE REGISTRATION
- one-week extension after the registration dates is given for late registrants. A penalty fee of Php180.00 will be charged for late registration.
- No student may enter a course later than one week after the opening of the semester without the permission of the Admission Committee and the instructor involved.
- Under no circumstances will students be enrolled in a course after the first week of classes.
COURSE SELECTION
- The registrar prepares for each student a program worksheet that indicates course requirements. This worksheet is given to the student's program director for assessment before or during registration day. At the day of registration, the director uses the worksheet in advising the student regarding his course load.
- A student will be provided with an updated list of courses he has already completed in order to help him assess his progress.
COURSE LOAD
- Students are classified as full-time or part-time according to their course load:
- Full-time students have a load of 12 - 15 units per semester.
- Part-time students, with a load of 9 units and below per semester, comprise of special students, cross-enrollees, auditing students, and AGS alumni.
- The maximum academic load for students is 15 units per semester.
